About:
Sasha is a stand-up, actor and writer. Sasha has done several stand-up shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, as well as smaller Fringes and comedy festivals around the country. One of her shows was nominated for Best New Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival 2022. Her jokes have been featured in Best Jokes of the Fringe lists in The Times, The Edinburgh Evening News and the Telegraph. A joke from Sasha's show My MILF-shake Brings all the Boys to the Yard was also features on BBC iPlayer’s Edinburgh Unlocked last year.
Sasha comes from an acting background. She was classically trained at Drama Studio London, and after doing a butt-load of Chekhov, wrote and performed in a two-hander play, which received a four star review from the Scotsman and transferred to the Soho Playhouse in Now York.
Last summer, Sasha was one of the top ten winning screenwriters of NYC Midnight’s Screenwriting Challenge, an international screenwriting competition with over 1,700 entrants. Sitcom scripts Sasha co-wrote have previously been shortlisted for BAFTA’s Rocliffe TV Comedy competition and long listed for BBC Writers Room. Comedy material Sasha has written has been featured on BBC Radio 4 Extra.
Sasha created a comedy gameshow called Character Building Experience, which has been running at the Fringe since 2019 and was shortlisted for Broadway World’s Comedy Award. Character Building Experience was filmed at the Fringe this summer; the filmed episodes of the show are currently in post production.

Character Building Experience:
Character Building Experience is an improvised, roleplaying, fantasy, comedy game show. Sasha guides three comedians through a story, where they take on quirky characters and complete a ridiculous quest. The show is suitable for the experts, the novices and the uninitiated but curious. No two quests are alike; a unique mini-adventure with improvised music, songs and questionable choices!
Character Building Experience started out at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019 and has since completed four full EdFringe runs. During the show’s Fringe career, Character Building received many four and five start reviews, as well as being shortlisted for the Broadway World Comedy Award. The show has also played at various smaller comedy festivals around the country, completed a run at the Vault Festival and a residency at the Museum of Comedy in London. Character Building has also been part of a variety of large scale gaming events, such as Stranger Games Festival and Airecon.
